Tweet With Me {GIVEAWAY!}

Is it just me, or is it taking all week to recoup from Memorial Day Weekend? I'm still trying to get back in the swing and it's already Friday.

We did have a busy Memorial weekend. 

We power washed our deck. 

We had a cookout.

We went to an awesome wedding...

This is Toph and I at the reception. We had a total blast. I got teary-eyed at the ceremony (I always do) and laughed and danced at the reception. Perfect wedding. Reminded me of the happiness on our wedding day.

We went to the Annual Boalsburg Memorial Day Celebration. Did you know that Boalsburg, PA is the birthplace of Memorial Day? Boy was it hot! They had craft tents, food, music...love the lederhosen...

...and of course rides! Here is Topher teaching our daughter how to get crazy on the choo choo train!

And in addition to all the Memorial Day excitement...I had quite a few cookie orders to do. One of my favorite orders from the weekend was a set of 'Twitter' bird cookies.

There are a ton of 'twitter birds' out there. Here are a few images...

So I merged them a little bit and went with this design...

The order was for a local business that wants to encourage their employees to set up a Twitter account for inter-company communications. They asked me to put each employees' name on the cookies. But there were a few extras...so I put little tweety messages on them.

She's everything you want in a 'twitterer'. She's witty, informative, and fun...plus she seems to know everything that's going on in the cookie world. It's cool to get her updates outside of her regular blog entries. It gives me my Bake at 350 fix between blog posts. :o)

I think I enjoyed these bird cookies because we've had a live tweet-fest on our deck for the past few weeks. My daughter, Toph and I check on our bird friends multiple times every day!
