Deluxe Cookie Edition Scrabble

Did your mama ever tell you not to play with your food? Well, forget it! Because, these cookies are meant to be played with...a Deluxe Cookie Edition Scrabble board! Every word is a winner...and it's tasty too!

This project was created for a super cool customer AND as part of a fun collaborative cookie project hosted by Oh! Sugar Events. See the full collage and links at the bottom for a complete list of participants. Warning...this sweet fun might just blow your mind!!

This is a full-sized Scrabble board with all the letter tiles! A special request from a sweet customer who wanted to surprise her Scrabble-loving grandmother on her 90th birthday!

The board is made up of 4 x 4 cookie squares. The letter tiles are about 1" square each. I used and edible food marker to create the 'score' squares - and it was a challenge to write that tiny!

Looks like 'flour' is a 8-point word. 'Box' is a 12-point word. And, 'bakery' is a 19-point word...thanks to the triple letter score!! 

Here is the birthday girl having fun playing Scrabble with her cookies! This photo just makes me smile so big!!!
