How to Decorate a Heart Flower Pot

Posted by Anne Yorks on Wednesday, January 24, 2018

Just in time for Valentine's Day (or any day)! If FRIENDS were FLOWERS I'd pick YOU!

First, let's take a look at the video. Use the graphics in the video to learn what tips to use and when to dry the icing!

Are you new to decorating? Before starting your first project, check out our FREE videos! Click here to check out our 'getting started' tutorials for videos on how to:

These are the Chefmaster colors I used in this set: super red, bright white, leaf green, fleshtone (flower pot), and super black. See the full collection of liqua-gel colors - click here.

Do this cookie shape look familiar? It's the LilaLoa cake stand - upside down!!

I like to sketch my cookies first. :)

Because the heart and leaves are relatively small icing ares, I used 20-second icing with a PME tip #1.5 (20-second icing is a hybrid, to too thick and flows smooth, but not too thin that it holds shape).

I thought the individual cookie was cute, but then I added in a bunch of mini hearts to make the bouquet look full.

We now have an entire line of mini cutters. Click here to view them in the shop!

More fun valentine's ideas coming this week - hooray!
