How to Decorate an Electric Guitar Cookie

Posted by Anne Yorks on Thursday, February 1, 2018

These are cookies that ROCK! I made them for a birthday party, but they could also be super fun for Valentine's Day...as in "Valentine, you rock!"

This is a design that looks impressive, but with a little patience isn't too tough to accomplish. Check out the video and use the graphics to learn what tips to use and when to dry the icing.

These are the Chefmaster colors I used in this set: sky blue, bright white, buckeye brown, super black, and super black + bright white for the gray. See the full collection of liqua-gel colors - click here

I like the Ann Clark electric guitar cutter best because it has a wide neck allowing for 6 guitar strings. You can find it in our shop - click here!

The trick to the strings is using a thinner piping icing with a tip #1. I practice a few straight lines before jumping on to the cookie. Takes a little patience and steadiness. This is one of those designs that becomes easier with repetition.

In the end, the results are awesome!
