Day 4 of Cookie Videos: How to Decorate a Gingerbread House

Posted by Anne Yorks on Monday, November 30, 2015

Decorating gingerbread house cookies is one of my favorite cookie shapes! The fun is in the details! A candy cane door frame, lollipop flowers, peppermint swirl eves, and a roof covered in icing! What's more fun than that?

Here is a video to show a start-to-finish look at decorating this cute house!

Are you new to cookie decorating? We are using Royal Icing to decorate our cookies! Check out ourtutorials on how to make and use Royal Icing! And you'll also enjoy this blog post with rolling and baking tips! Both links include our recipes!

I use tip #349 to create that cute mini wreath. It's available here in our shop.

And this is the cutter I used, available here!

We also have a NEW house set, two cutters to build a 3-D house. I cannot wait to try this out!

The fun is in the details. Here are a few from Christmas' past:

So many cute cookies will be delivered to Callao Saturday morning!! Last delivery of 2014!
